Welcome to our Rising 6th Graders Math Program designed to prepare students for the exciting challenges of middle school math. Whether you want to strengthen your skills or build confidence before the school year begins, this program will help you start strong and develop a growth mindset around math.

What to Expect!
Dates: July 14 – July 25 (Monday through Friday)
Time: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Format: 90-minute daily sessions combining skill-building and hands-on math
6th Grade Math Standards (Focus Areas):
5.NBT.7: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals
6.NS.1: Divide fractions by fractions
6.NS.3: Fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit decimals
6.RP.1: Understand the concept of a ratio
6.RP.3: Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world problems
6.EE.1: Write and evaluate numerical expressions with exponents
6.EE.2: Write and evaluate expressions with variables
