The Rising 8th Graders Math Program is designed to support students as they prepare for one of the most important years in middle school math. This program helps reinforce core concepts from 7th grade, introduces key 8th-grade topics, and builds the confidence students need to thrive.

What to Expect!
Dates: July 14 – July 25 (Monday through Friday)
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Format: 90-minute daily sessions combining skill-building and hands-on math
8th Grade Math Standards (Focus Areas):
7.NS.1–2: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers
8.NS.1: Understand the real number system, including irrational numbers
7.RP.2: Recognize and represent proportional relationships
8.EE.5–6: Graph proportional relationships and interpret unit rate as slope
8.EE.7: Solve linear equations in one variable
7.EE.1–4: Solve multi-step problems with expressions and equations
8.F.1–2: Understand functions as rules assigning inputs to outputs
